Kitchen Plans

A built-in booth for the kitchen, drawn before anything got cut: the bench and its storage, the table that sits in it, and the sideboard on the opposite wall. Every drawing here is dimensioned, so you can scale it to your own room.

What's in the drawings

Three pieces, drawn as a set so the seat height, table height and clearances work together. Drawings are dimensioned; pinch or zoom to read the smaller callouts.

The booth

An L-shaped bench, 3 ft tall overall with a seat at 1 ft 6 in. The whole underside is storage — three doors along the long run and a taller cabinet in the return. The back is a vertical slat panel that stops at seat height.

The table

A trestle table sized to the booth — long enough to seat the full run of the bench, with the legs pulled in so nobody straddles one getting into the seat. Angled braces run from the trestle feet up to the top.

The sideboard

A 4 ft wide piece standing 5 ft tall, with the work surface at 3 ft and two drawers under it. Open shelving below, and a slatted back panel above the top that matches the booth.
